Our single-layer mesh rings range from 10 mesh to 100 mesh and are available with black EPDM or light silicone outer shells – USP Class VI compliant. However, other alternative hulls are available on request. The rings are not glued, so the mesh or outer shell can be replaced relatively easily.

As you can see from our graphic illustration at the top of this section, the tighter the mesh, the more efficient the particle capture will be. The higher the mesh number, the smaller the hole size. Standard mesh measurements are given in wires per inch, for example a 10 mesh equals 10 wires per inch in both directions to give square inches. Mesh rings can also be used to limit pressure on a line for different applications.
We recommend regularly checking the mesh to ensure its cleanliness and efficiency. The captured particles will lead to reduced efficiency and lower pressure.
To accompany its range of mesh rings, Advanced Couplings also offers certified SS 316L oriff plates, all adapted to the sizes mentioned above. They are all treated with a polished mirror finish and a thickness of 1.2 mm.
